Welcome to RCIYC racing. Each year the RCIYC's race team, under Stuart Place our Race Officer, host over 20 races where our members enjoy on-the-water competition and camaraderie year round. We offer a wide range of racing including our traditional passage race series in the summer which takes in the navigational aspects of sailing, culminating in the ‘Round Guernsey’. To blow the cobwebs away our ‘round the cans' Frostbite series is always well supported. In addition we hold a number of one off races to encourage participation from the cruising fraternity and are always open to suggestions. All our races finish with our ‘legendary’ prize-giving.
